Here is the latest hot set up for those folks that want to use the direct drive steering

system The tail wheel assemblies we are currently shipping are drilled through to

accomodate the use of a pivoting tiller arm. This solves the problem of breaking the

tiller arm due to bending forces exerted by the flexing of the spring. A 1/16 wheel collar

to secure the 1/16 music wire tiller is the best, but you can just bend the end of the

wire over if you like.

Here is the complete instillation using the optional WRE tiller arm on a Krill Katana -S 33%. Note the use of a standard  hobby shop  ball link gluentobottom of the rudder. The 1/16 wheel collar holding the tiller arm into the yoke is also

clearly show. This install was done by WRE Chief Engineer and Test Pilot Mike Emery. Take note of the washers under the heads of the ball link SHCS's and the use of elastic stop nuts on the threads protruding beyond the servo arms. All smart plane saving tips.

Here is a great example of how to install and set up the steering for a WRE Tail wheel.                                    The WRE extended steering arm is employed on both the tail wheel and on the bottom                         of  the rudder. This photo is also a good example of how to install our compression                                   spring  steering package. This is a picture of Tony Greene's 40% in Ft. Myers Florida.

Spats made from the back half of a wheel pant glued onto a piece of 1/8" light ply. Displays the wheel while retaining a scale look.

We are proud of our new billet wheels so we thought we would find some ways to show them off.   It seemed to be a shame to hide them under a wheel pant.

Here is our push/pull set up using the big foot print rudder servo tray. Carbon fiber                                     push  rods  are utilized so you have the benefit of both servos powering the rudder,  one                                pulling, the other pushing.
